Non-life insurance company’s one-year business is Rs 43.95 billion, who did how much?

Kathmandu. In the last fiscal year 2082-83, the business of non-life insurance has increased by 6.77 percent. According to the details made public by the Nepal Insurance Authority, 14 non-life insurance companies operating in the last fiscal year have done business worth Rs 43.95 billion.

In the previous fiscal year 2081-82, the business of non-life insurance company was Rs 41.17 billion. Shikhar Insurance has topped the list of highest number of business earners in the last one year. During this period, the business of the company increased by 5.92 percent to Rs 5.79 billion. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company’s business stood at Rs 5.47 billion.

Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance, which is the second most commercialized company, has increased its insurance business by 4.46 percent to Rs 5 billion. Similarly, Siddhartha Premier Insurance, the third largest company, has a turnover of Rs 4.31 billion, up 3.18 percent.

During the review period, Himalayana Everest’s business increased by 10 percent to Rs 4.10 billion, IGI Prudential’s 5.89 percent to Rs 3.86 billion, Neco Insurance’s 4.48 percent to Rs 3.28 billion, NLG Insurance’s 20 percent to Rs 3.06 billion, United Ajod’s 2 percent to Rs 2.7 billion, The Oriental’s 25 percent to Rs 2.7 billion and The Oriental’s 25 percent to Rs 2.7 billion.

Similarly, Nepal Insurance company has a business of Rs 2.03 billion, Prabhu Insurance Rs 1.86 billion, National Insurance Company Rs 1.37 billion and National Insurance Rs 1.06 billion.
