Patarasi Rural Municipality completes 217 projects

Jumla. Patarasi rural municipality has completed 217 development projects in the last fiscal year 2081÷82 BS.

Chief Administrative Officer of the rural municipality, Nabin Shahi, said that out of the total 226 projects signed in seven wards of the municipality, 217 have been completed. Twenty-two out of 24 schemes have been constructed in ward no. 1 and 40 out of 42 schemes in ward no. 2.

Similarly, 33 out of 39 projects in Ward No. 3 and 38 out of 39 projects in Ward No. 4 have been completed and brought into operation, according to Chief Administrative Officer Shahi. Similarly, all the 29 projects in ward no. 5, 31 out of 34 projects in ward no. 6 and 24 projects in ward no. 7 have been completed and brought into operation, according to Patarasi rural municipality.

A budget of Rs 157.62 million has been spent for the project. Shahi, chief administrative officer of the rural municipality, said that 81.12 percent of the total budget allocated at the ward level has been spent on development.

The rural municipality has collected Rs 2.329 million more than the target of rs 1.65 million in the last fiscal year. Chief Administrative Officer Shahi said, “Out of the seven contracts awarded, the remaining six projects have been completed except one multi-year plan. Of the Rs 227.9million spent in the current fiscal year, 86 per cent has been spent.

Shahi, chief administrative officer of the rural municipality, said 64 per cent of the rs 123.37 million allocated for capital expenditure has been incurred. ’
