Kathmandu. Chilime Hydropower Company has released its financial statements for the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year. According to the financial statement, the company earned a profit of Rs 679.59 million in the last financial year.

The company’s profit has increased by 3.61 percent compared to the previous fiscal year. In the previous fiscal year, the company had posted a profit of Rs 685.26 million. The company’s electricity sales revenue has also increased. As a result, profit has increased.

At the end of the last fiscal year, the company earned Rs 1.12 billion through electricity sales. This is an increase of 0.81 percent compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year. In the previous fiscal year, the company had earned Rs 1.11 billion.

During the period, the company’s total profit increased by 1.44 percent to Rs 858.54 million. Similarly, operating profit increased by 3.61 percent to Rs 711.1 million during the period under review. In the previous fiscal year, the company’s operating profit stood at Rs 685.26 million.

The company’s financial income declined by 16.70 percent to Rs 134 million 23 thousand. In the previous fiscal year, the company’s revenue stood at Rs 168.97 crore. Although the profit has increased, the company’s earnings per share have decreased. During the review period, the company’s earnings decreased by 76 paise to Rs 7.74.

As of Mid-July, the company’s net worth per share was Rs 130.59 and the price-to-earnings ratio was 60.7 times. As of the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year, the company had a paid-up capital of Rs 8.78 billion and retained earnings of Rs 2.68 billion.
