Kathmandu. The stock market has collapsed. The decline in the market from the beginning of trading continued till the last moment.

Not only the market but also the transaction amount has decreased on Tuesday. The index, which measures the market, fell by 26.22 points to 2796.24 points. The price of 24 companies has increased while the price of 225 companies has decreased.

Nine hundred forty-seven thousand 675 units of shares of 323 companies were traded for Rs 6billion 918 million 83 thousand 507. Sub-indices of all the groups have been closed in the transaction.

The price of City Hotel has seen a positive circuit in the transaction. Similarly, shares of Sixes Hydropower Company fell 9.99 per cent. Nepal Re Insurance is at the top in terms of transaction amount.

Shares worth Rs 267 million 55 thousand 293 of the company were traded. Himalayan Re Insurance and Lumbini Bikas Bank are in the second and third positions respectively.
