Kathmandu. Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance has released its financial statements for the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year. In the last fiscal year, the company’s profit decreased by 12.53 percent to Rs 403.26 million. The company’s net profit stood at Rs 469.79 million in the previous fiscal year.

In the last fiscal year, the net insurance premium of the company has increased compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year. At the end of the last fiscal year, the company has earned Rs 2.11 billion in insurance premiums. During this period, the insurance company’s net insurance premium increased by 22.86 percent. At the end of the previous fiscal year, the company had earned Rs 1.72 billion in net insurance premium.

The company’s earnings per share have also decreased in the last fiscal year. In the last fiscal year, the company’s earnings per share decreased by Rs 2.20 to Rs 15.37. As of mid-July, the company’s net worth per share stood at Rs 239.12. The company has a price-to-earnings ratio of 47.23 times.

As of last fiscal year, the company had a paid-up capital of Rs 2.62 billion and a special reserve of Rs 2.55 billion. The company has a reserve fund of Rs 229.3 million. The company has a retained earnings of Rs 366.5 million and other equities of Rs 502.2 million.
