MITERI Cooperative fraud case: CIB submits probe report to 11 accused

Kathmandu. The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has submitted its report to the District Government Attorney’s Office in Lalitpur.

According to the CIB, a report has been submitted with the opinion that 11 people will be made respondents in the cooperative fraud case.

The report did not find evidence about the involvement of Nepali Congress Vice-President Dhanraj Gurung.

The CIB has recommended 11 people, including Jyoti Gurung, general manager of Miteri Cooperative, Jyoti Bahadur Bhandari, Subash Khatri, Suresh Adhikari and Prakash Thapa as defendants.

The cooperative has been duped of around Rs 140 million and demanded accordingly.
