Nepal SBI Bank’s profit down to 11.29%

Kathmandu. Nepal SBI Bank has earned a profit of Rs 1.80 billion in the last fiscal year.

This profit is 9.86 percent lower than the same period of the previous fiscal year. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the bank had posted a profit of Rs 1.99 billion.

During this period, the bank’s impression charge has increased and the profit has been affected. The bank’s improvement charge has increased from Rs 648.31 million to Rs 1.02 billion.

During the period, the bank’s net interest income increased by 3.72 percent to Rs 5.26 billion. Similarly, operating profit decreased by 3.62 percent to Rs 2.73 billion.

The bank’s net profit stood at Rs 1.23 billion. The capacity to pay dividend to shareholders is Rs 11.29.

The bank’s earnings per share is Rs 16.54 and net worth per share is Rs 188.59. The bank has a paid-up capital of Rs 10.89 billion and a reserve fund of Rs 9.65 billion. At the end of the last fiscal year, the bank collected deposits of Rs 199.60 billion and invested Rs 134.96 billion in loans.
