Muktinath bank’s profit rises by 22.01 percent, Muktinath falls by 2

Kathmandu. National-level development banks have earned a profit of Rs 5.60 billion till mid-June of the last fiscal year.

This profit is 22.01 percent higher than the same period of the previous fiscal year. The national level development bank had a budget of Rs 4.59 billion as of mid-July of the previous fiscal year.

According to the unaudited financial situation published by the banks, the profit of two out of eight development banks has decreased and the profit of six banks has increased.

Muktinath Bikas Bank has earned the highest profit of Rs 1.53 billion till Mid-June. This profit has increased by 30.70 percent compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the bank’s net profit stood at Rs 1.17 billion.

Similarly, Garima Bikas Bank’s net profit increased by 201.97 percent to Rs 1.31 billion. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the bank had posted a profit of Rs 433.95 million.

Similarly, Shine Resunga Development Bank’s net profit increased by 0.48 percent to Rs 688.629 million, Kamna Sewa Bikas Bank’s profit increased by 9.19 percent to Rs 635.297 million.

Similarly, Shangri-La Development Bank’s profit increased by 6.51 percent to Rs 537.095 million, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank’s profit increased by 1.26 percent to Rs 506.665 million.

During this period, lumbini and Jyoti Bikas Bank’s profit has decreased. Lumbini Bikas Bank’s net profit declined by 30.13 percent to Rs 379.88 million. Similarly, Jyoti Bikas Bank’s net profit declined by 92.74 percent to Rs 12.37 million.
