Kathmandu. The government has relieved Sharad Ojha from the post of chairman of the Insurance Authority.

A cabinet meeting held this evening decided to relieve Ojha from his post, a minister said. A meeting of the Council of Ministers held today decided to relieve Ojha from his post on the basis of the recommendations of the committee formed under the coordination of former High Court Judge Krishna Giri.

The government had appointed Ojha as the chairman of Nepal Insurance Authority (INSURANCE) on February 15.
