Siraha. A deep borewell has been dug at Nipnia of Golbazar Municipality-2 at a cost of Rs 7 million to help the farmers who could not sow due to drought. A 10,000-litre tank has also been constructed.
According to the Kamala Irrigation Office, irrigation service will be available on 70 bighas of land. Former minister Lilanath Shrestha inaugurated the boring service.
On the occasion, Mayor of Golbazar Municipality, Shyam Kumar Shrestha, informed that six deep borewells have been dug so far.
