Kathmandu. The construction of parafit and seat-laying work at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur has reached the final stage.
BKOI-KCDC-BG JV had signed an agreement for the construction of the parapet on February 15, 2081.
Prem Poudel, a representative of the construction company, said that 95 percent of the construction work has been completed.
He said that now only works like cleaning and railing fittings are left.
According to Poudel, the 10,000-capacity ground is located in two sections of the eastern and western sections, while 2,290 chairs have been placed in the eastern section and 7,710 chairs in the western section.
Bishan-Ishwari Joint Venture, which was awarded the contract for rs 274 million for the installation of floodlights, has now brought all the poles for six lights and the installation work will start for a few days.
