Bagmati. Hetauda Cement Industry has resumed production from today.
Acting General Manager of the industry, Engineer Ram Babu Sah, said that the production has started from today after the maintenance of the machinery of the industry was completed. The factory had been closed since April last year due to problems with the machine. Acting General Manager Sah informed that the production has been started after the machine was repaired and coal was managed.
“We had a problem of coal to run the industry. We have managed about 1,000 tonnes of coal on the condition that we produce cement and sell it and make payment,” he said. ”
Established at Lamsure in Hetauda in 2033 BS, the industry started producing cement from 2043 BS. But due to financial problems, the industry is being closed. Earlier, the industry had produced around 100,000 sacks of cement from the second week of April. The industry has limestone mines at jogimara of Dhading and Okhre, Majuwa and Bhainse of Makawanpur.
According to Acting General Manager Sah, it is difficult to operate the industry due to problems such as lack of old technology, equipment, market, lack of price adjustment, lack of employees according to the vacancy and competitive market.
