Kathmandu. Green Ventures Company has acquired the founder shares of Kaligandaki Gorge Hydropower Company. The agreement was signed between the two companies on Tuesday.

Kaligandaki Gorge Hydropower is developing and constructing a 180 MW semi-reservoir project on kaligandaki river in Myagdi and Mustang districts. The project has already received permission to produce electricity.

The estimated cost of the project is Rs 39.5 billion. The ratio of debt to self-capital is 75:25 percent. In this, the financial management of other banks led by Laxmi Sunrise Bank has been done.
