Kathmandu. On the first trading day of the week, both the NEPSE index and the share transaction amount fell on Sunday. The NEPSE index fell by 31.17 points to 2,749.83 points today. Similarly, the Sensex fell 5.03 points, the Float Index 2.31 points and the Sensitive Float Index 1.84 points.
Along with the NEPSE index, the transaction amount has also decreased today. Shares worth Rs 6.06 billion were traded in the market on Sunday, while shares worth Rs 8 billion were traded on Thursday.
The index of all the 13 sub-groups has decreased on Sunday. Of these, the index of development bank sub-group has decreased the most by 1.59 percent today. Similarly, the index of finance, hotel and tourism, hydropower, investment, life insurance, production and processing, microfinance, non-life insurance and other sub-groups declined by more than 1 percent today.
Today, the share price of Unnati Sahyog Laghubitta Financial Institution has increased the most by 6.77 percent. Similarly, the share price of Asha Microfinance has increased by more than 4 percent. The unit of Global IME Samunnat Yojana 2, which was traded today, has been traded at a negative circuit level.
On this day, Nepal Reinsurance Company is at the highest position in terms of transaction amount. Shares worth Rs 454.6 million of the company were traded on this day. Shares worth Rs 290 million of Himalayan Re Insurance were traded today. On the other hand, the transaction amount of Himalayan Distillery has crossed Rs 260 million.
