Kathmandu. Pokhara: Image Savings and Loan Co-operative Society has started returning the amount of savers who have saved less than Rs 100,000 in Pokhara. The cooperative, which has already refunded the amount of 613 savers who have saved less than Rs 100,000 in Baglung, has started returning the money of 158 people of Pokhara branch.

Dil Bahadur Karki, coordinator of cooperative victims struggle committee, said that out of 524 savers in Pokhara branch, 158 savers have savings of less than Rs 100,000. Karki said that the money will be returned to them gradually.

In the case of savers with savings of more than Rs 100,000, they will be provided houses in Baglung, Pokhara, Chitwan and Kathmandu.

The committee has partnered with Parbat-based Mina Group Pvt Ltd to return the money to the savers. Committee coordinator Karki said that an agreement has been reached to hand over all the land in the name of the cooperative’s founder chairman Dev Kumar Nepali and his wife to the private limited after returning the money of the savers. ।
