Kathmandu. Kathmandu: A mass worship of Kumaris was performed in front of Taleju Bhawani Temple in Basantapur area of Kathmandu today.
On the occasion of Indra Jatra, 504 Kanya Kumari were worshiped. It is customary to worship Kumari collectively the next day after the lingo of Indra Jatra.
It is believed that taleju Bhavani will protect the girls if kumari puja is performed. ।
