New bridge to be constructed over Kaligandaki river linking Parbat and Baglung

Mountain. A long and high suspension bridge is to be constructed over Kaligandaki river to connect Parbat and Baglung districts. The fifth bridge is going to be constructed linking Kushma Bazaar and Balewa of Baglung.

Ward Chair Khatri said that the bridges are being constructed at the initiative of the people’s representatives on the basis of local needs at a time when not everyone has been able to benefit from the bridges already constructed in Balewa, Kaiya, Paiyupata of Baglung and Kushma of Parbat.
