Shares to open trading from Wednesday

Kathmandu. Shares of the company, which were closed due to the Genji protests, will reopen on Wednesday. According to Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) sources, it is preparing to open share trading from Wednesday.

Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has sent a letter to the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) to open the share market on Monday. After the board responded to the letter, preparations are being made to open the share market from Wednesday, according to a highly-placed source of NEPSE.

The stock market has not opened since Tuesday due to the protest. NEPSE had issued a notice stating that the market will be closed till Thursday, September 2.
