Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal said that the government has decided to declare a public holiday to mourn the death of those killed in the Zenji movement.
The government has decided in principle to form a judicial inquiry commission into the Jenji movement.
Similarly, the government has decided to give Rs 10 lakh to the families of those killed during the Genji agitation, but it has decided to give an additional Rs 15 lakh, which is Rs 5 lakh.
Likewise, it has been decided to construct the Jenji Jagran Memorial Park in memory of those who attained martyrdom during the movement, according to Minister Aryal.
