Kathmandu. The work of making and selling clay idols for tomorrow’s Vishwakarma Puja is going on in full swing.
Artisans have crafted the idols and brought them to the market for sale. On the day of the puja, devotees perform puja and worship the tools.
Vishwakarma Puja is a festival dedicated to Vishwakarma, the architect of the deity in the Hindu tradition, in which the worship of tools, workplaces, and machines is believed to bring prosperity, safety, and efficiency.
The festival also provides an opportunity for individuals and communities to remind them of the importance of tools, machines and craftsmen.
After the puja, the devotees immerse the idols in various rivers They do.
