Kathmandu. Sharad Ojha has returned to Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) following the Supreme Court’s interim order.

A single bench of Justice Sharanga Subedi issued the interim order on September 9. With this order, Chairman Ojha has returned to the NEA. He went to the authority some time ago. He was welcomed back by the NEA staff, according to an employee.

“With the court’s interim order, Chairman Ojha appeared at the NRA some time ago,” the employee said, adding, “We have welcomed you again.” ’

A cabinet meeting held on August 18 had sacked Ojha from the post of chairman of the NRA. After the government sacked him from the NRA, Ojha had approached the Supreme Court. Ojha had approached the court demanding that the government not implement the decision to sack him immediately.

The government had sacked Ojha and sought applications for the post of new president. A total of 14 candidates have applied for the post of president.
