Kathmandu. An insurance claim of Rs 22.25 billion has been received for vandalism and arson during the Jenji agitation on September 7 and 24 in protest against corruption and misgovernance.

According to the Nepal Insurance Authority, 2,478 insurance claims have been received from 18 companies till September 21. According to NEA, insurance claims worth Rs 22.25 billion have been received for 2,478 insurance policies.

The highest number of claims have been made in Re Oriental Insurance. The company has received claims of Rs 5.22 billion for 73 insurance policies.
