Kathmandu. Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Physical Infrastructure and Transport, and Urban Development Minister Kulman Ghising paid a courtesy call on US Ambassador to Nepal Dean R. Thompson today.
During the meeting, matters including Nepal-US cooperation, implementation status of US-assisted projects and reconstruction of public structures damaged during the Gen-G movement were discussed.
During the meeting, Minister Ghising said that the main priorities of the incumbent government were to reconstruct the structures damaged during the agitation, hold general elections and maintain good governance.
Ambassador Thompson said the US would continue its support to Nepal.
