Kathmandu. The stock market is in the green as it was decades ago.

On the last trading day before Dashain, the market rose by 11.51 points to close at 2,663.51 points.

A total of 7,511,193 units of shares of 314 companies worth Rs 2.93 billion were traded. Today, the price of 170 companies has increased while the price of 69 companies has decreased.

The sub-indices of hotels, trading and other sub-indices have decreased while the sub-indices of other groups have fallen. Investors have been attracted to the sub-indices of the banking group in the market today.
