Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Kunal Kayal has been appointed as the vice-president of the Nepal-India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NIKKI).
Kunal Kayal has over 5 years of experience in leadership roles within Nikkei. He served as the treasurer of the association in the previous executive committee. His appointment will further strengthen bilateral cooperation in trade, investment and industrial growth between Nepal and India.
Kelly’s expertise and leadership are expected to contribute to Nikkei’s objectives as a bilateral chamber dedicated to promoting investment, trade, tourism, energy and hydropower, infrastructure, services, human resources, information technology and technology transfer.
Kayal, a chartered accountant by profession, is a director of the Kayal Group, an industrial and business conglomerate. Kayal Group has diversified its presence in manufacturing, construction materials trading, hydropower & solar power, real estate, banking & insurance, tourism, healthcare etc. He is also the honorary consul general of Jordan in Nepal.
Nikki’s executive committee has promoted Marshall Rathore to the post of director. Rathore had earlier served as the deputy director of the company. He has been associated with Nikki for the last 24 years.
