Myagdi. Locals have collected donations to connect Myagdi and Kaski to the road network.

According to Ram Bahadur Khadka, chairman of Annapurna Rural Municipality-6, the two districts have been connected to the road network after the locals collected donation from the locals to construct a two-kilometer track along the Ghodepani-Nagethanti-Banthati section.

“The road from Pokhrebagar to Lower Ghodepani and from New Bridge of Kaski to Ulleri via Banthati was constructed before this and vehicles were operating,” he said, adding, “Locals of Ulleri, Sikh, Ghar and Ghodepani collected donation and opened the track to open the track.” ’

The 40-km stretch connects New Pul of the Mid-Hill Highway to Pokhrebagar on the Beni-Jomsom-Korala road section of Kaligandaki Corridor.
