Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the exchange rate of foreign currency for today. According to the Nepal Rastra Bank, the selling rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 141.60 and Rs 142.20.

The buying rate of European Euro 1 was fixed at 163.79 paise and selling rate of 164.48 paise, while the selling rate of UK pound sterling one was set at 187.96 rupees and the selling rate of Swiss franc 1 was fixed at 175.68 rupees and 176.43 rupees.

The selling rate of one Australian dollar 1 has been fixed at 92.78 rupees and 93.18 paise, while the selling rate of one Canadian dollar has been fixed at 101.03 rupees and 101.46 paise.

Similarly, the buying rate of Japanese Yen 10 was Rs 9.27 and selling rate was Rs 9.31, while the selling rate of Chinese Yuan 1 was Rs 19.88 and the selling rate was Rs 19.96.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of Thai Bat 1 is Rs 4.33 and the selling rate is Rs 4.35, the buying rate of UAE Dirham 1 is Rs 38.55 and the selling rate is Rs 38.71, the selling rate of Malaysian Ringat 1 is Rs 33.51 and the selling rate is Rs 33.66. The selling rate of Swedish kroner 1 has been fixed at Rs 14.86 for buying and Rs 14.92 for selling of Danish kroner 1.

According to NRB, the buying rate of Hong Kong Dollar 1 is 18.20 rupees and the selling rate is 18.27 rupees, the selling rate of Kuwaiti Dinar 1 is 461.16 rupees and the selling rate is 463.11 rupees, the selling rate of Bahrain Dinar 1 is 375.57 and the selling rate is 377.16 rupees. The selling rate has been fixed at Rs 160 and Rs 100 for buying and Rs 100.

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has stated that the exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need. However, the exchange rate fixed by the commercial bank may vary and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
