Kathmandu. The stock market fell by double digits on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week. On Wednesday, the NEPSE index decreased by 22.58 points to close at 2,505.58 points. Likewise, the sensitive float index decreased by 2.92 points, while the float index decreased by 1.38 points and the sensitive float index decreased by 1.05 points.
Along with the stock market, the trading volume has also decreased. Shares worth Rs 3.36 billion were traded in the market on Tuesday, while shares worth Rs 3.10 billion were traded today.
Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of 13 sub-groups increased on Wednesday. The index of the remaining 12 sub-groups decreased. On this day, the indices of the mutual fund sub-group have increased modestly. The trade sub-group index decreased the most by 2.09 percent on the day.
The share price of Samata Domestic Laghubitta Bittiya Bittiya Sanstha was the biggest loser of 6.93 percent today. Similarly, shares of Samaj Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha and Bindhyabasini Hydropower Development Company were traded at negative circuit level today.
On the basis of turnover, Aan Nepal Reinsurance Company is in the highest position. The company’s shares worth Rs 20.54 crore were traded today. Shares worth Rs 13.5 crore were traded in Himalayan Reinsurance Company today.
