Nepal Police invites tender to buy 85 vehicles

Kathmandu. Nepal Police has called for tenders to purchase 85 vehicles.

Issuing a notice on Thursday, the Nepal Police Headquarters has called for tender for the purchase of vehicles.

According to the information, the police will purchase 75 petrol-powered vehicles and 10 electric pick-up trucks. The bidders can participate in the pre-bid meeting to be held on October 26.

The electronic tender has to be submitted to the Nepal Police Headquarters by October 31. According to the police, the tenders will be opened on October 14 (October 31) at 2 pm.

The tenders should be submitted with bank guarantee and the guarantee should be more than 30 days from the tender validity period. On September 24, protesters torched police vehicles in various places during the Jenji protests.

The interim government formed after that is scheduled to hold elections on March 4. The Election Commission had also requested the police to buy the vehicle.
