It has urged people to be cautious while scanning QR codes. If you have to scan the QR code to send money, you do not need to scan the QR code to receive money.
You have to scan the QR code while sending money. To receive the money, you have to give your QR code to the payer.
If someone asks me to send money by sending a QR code, please scan it. If someone does this, it will be a kind of financial fraud.
