Kathmandu. Police have arrested a Nepali national and another Chinese national with Rs 69.85 lakh from Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Swayambhu.

According to Additional Inspector General of Police (ADG) Dan Bahadur Karki, a 38-year-old Chinese national Jiao Yang and 22-year-old Rojina Sunar of Nilkantha Municipality in Dhading were arrested on Thursday and made public.

“Police have arrested two persons—a Chinese and a Nepali—with undisclosed funds,” he said. Further investigation into the case is underway. Additional Inspector General of Police (AIG) Karki said that the police also confiscated gold ornaments from the rooms rented by the arrestees.
