Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the exchange rate of foreign currency for today. According to the Nepal Rastra Bank, the selling rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 140.26 and Rs 140.86 for buying and selling of one US dollar.

Similarly, the buying rate of European Euro 1 was fixed at Rs 162.83 and the selling rate of 1 euro was Rs 163.53, while the selling rate of UK pound sterling was Rs 186.70 and the selling rate of Swiss franc 1 was fixed at Rs 176.03 and Rs 176.78.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar is 91.12 paise and the selling rate is 91.51 rupees, the selling rate of one Canadian dollar is 99.98 rupees and the selling rate is 100.41 rupees.

Similarly, the buying rate of Japanese Yen 10 was Rs 9.17 and the selling rate was Rs 9.21, the selling rate of Chinese Yuan 1 was Rs 19.69 and the selling rate was Rs 19.78.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of Thai Dirham 1 is Rs 4.28 and selling rate is Rs 4.30, the selling rate of UAE Dirham 1 is Rs 38.19 and the selling rate is Rs 38.35, the selling rate of Malaysian Ringat 1 is Rs 33.21 and the selling rate is Rs 33.36. The selling rate of Swedish kroner 1 has been fixed at Rs 14.93 and the selling rate of Danish kroner 1 has been fixed at Rs 21.80 and Rs 21.89.

The central bank has set a buying rate of 1 Hong Kong dollar 1 at Rs 18.05 and selling rate of Rs 18.13, Kuwaiti Dinar 1 at Rs 457.33 and selling rate of 459.29 paise, Bahrain Dinar 1 at Rs 372.07 and selling rate of 373.66 paise, Omni Rial 1 at Rs 364.30 and selling rate of Rs 365.86. The selling rate has been fixed at Rs 160 and Rs 100 for buying and Rs 100.

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has stated that the exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need. However, the exchange rate fixed by the commercial bank may vary and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
