Gunakar Bhatta quits NRB after 25 years and 4 months of service

Kathmandu. Executive Director of Nepal Rastra Bank, Dr. Gunakar Bhatta has compulsorily retired. He went on compulsory retirement from last Thursday.

According to the NRB Employees Regulations, Bhatta’s tenure has been completed as per the provision of retiring after seven years as the executive director.

As per the provision, the NRB is eligible to retire for 30 years of service, 58 years of age or 12 years at the higher level and seven years for the executive director of the bank. Bhatta joined the Rastra Bank as an assistant director in 2057 BS. He became the executive director in 2075 BS.
