Rainfall has damaged paddy crops in all seven local levels of Parbat district, according to Agriculture Knowledge Centre. Sobita Subedi, information officer and crop protection officer at the Agriculture Knowledge Centre, said that some farmers have informed that the hybrid paddy has been harvested and soaked in the fields. According to Subedi, farmers have reported more damage to the local varieties of paddy than those that have been sliced and dried.
