Mustang. According to the local administration, the Narsingh rivulet has been blocked due to landslide occurred at salt mine khonch in ward no. 3 of Waragung Mukti Chhetra rural municipality.

Chief District Officer of Mustang, Bishnu Prasad Bhusal, informed that the water has dried up below the blocked area since Saturday night. “The water in the river has been completely blocked and it seems to have leaked only a little,” CDO Bhusal said, adding, “We searched the area with the help of a drone of the Nepal Army this afternoon. ’

CDO Bhusal said that the Army has made a quick analysis of the lake and found that the lake would not be filled and would not burst until tomorrow. According to him, the pictures taken by the army drone do not look like a big lake.

The district administration has issued a notice to stop the movement of vehicles and people from the river side of the river after the water in the river dried up. The ancient salt mine at Waragung-3 is located in the north÷east of Tetang village. It is an hour’s walk from Tetang and is located in the gorge of two towering mountains.
