Kathmandu. The stock market fell by a marginal point on Monday, the second trading session of the week. The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index decreased by 8.24 points to close at 2622.89. Likewise, the Sensitive Float Index decreased by 0.83 points, while the Float Index decreased by 0.56 points and the Sensitive Float Index decreased by 0.22 points.
A total of 1,21,85,388 units of shares of 333 companies were traded and Rs 6.05 billion worth was traded on Monday.
Shivam Cement was the most traded today. The company’s turnover stood at Rs 37.68 crore. The company’s share price is Rs 613.10 per share.
Share prices of 72 companies increased today, while the share prices of 172 companies remained unchanged, while the share prices of 5 companies remained unchanged. Shares of Muktinath Agriculture Company and Excel Development Bank have hit the positive circuit today. Similarly, the shares of Eastern Hydropower Company Limited (NEPSE) have seen negative circuit today.
