Kathmandu. Nirmal Dhakal, chairman of the government-owned National Insurance Company, has taken the oath of office and secrecy. Dhakal administered the oath of office and secrecy to the chairman of Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA), Janak Raj Sharma, at the central office of NEA in Kupandole on Monday.

As per the government’s decision on November 30, he was appointed as the Deputy Director General of the Department of Money Laundering Investigation and the chairman of Rastriya Beema Company Limited.

Director of Insurance Authority Kundan Sapkota and Chief Executive Officer of Rastriya Beema Company Limited Dr. Shiva Hari Shrestha and other office-bearers were also present on the occasion.
