Kathmandu. Chairman of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Chandra Dhakal, has said that the discussion with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on the issue of electricity tariff has taken a middle path proposal.
He said this while speaking at a press conference organized at the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) on Tuesday. He said that the new proposal has now been taken from the talks with the Prime Minister on Sunday and Monday. Dhakal said that the proposal was taken based on the feedback sought from the concerned industrialists.
Dhakal said that a new proposal has been put forward to deposit the amount of one installment of the amount equivalent to 28 installments from the talks with the Prime Minister and to open the way for legal remedies. He said that the power cut in the industry for 14÷15 days has had a negative impact on the economy. The federation is in constant dialogue to resolve this problem immediately and connect the line to the industry.
