Kathmandu. National Life Insurance Company Limited and NLG Insurance Company Limited have contributed Rs 10 million and Rs 2.5 million for the reconstruction of physical infrastructures damaged during the demonstration on September 9 and 24.

Chief Executive Officer of National Life Insurance Suresh Prasad Khatri and Chief Executive Officer of NLG Insurance Sunil Ballav Panta handed over financial assistance to the fund established by the Government of Nepal.

The cheques were handed over to Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal on behalf of both the companies.

Tanka Prasad Pandey, spokesperson of the Ministry of Finance, said that a total of Rs 7,51,60,439 has been collected in the fund today.
