FNCCI to host ‘National Macroeconomic Debate’ on Saturday

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) is going to organize the National Macroeconomic Debate on Saturday. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, government ministers and the private sector will participate in the event.

Prime Minister Sushila Karki, Minister for Finance, Federal Affairs and General Administration Rameshwor Prasad Khanal, Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Physical Infrastructure and Transport Kul Man Ghising, Minister for Home Affairs Om Prakash Aryal and Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Anil Kumar Sinha will be present in the program.

Similarly, the Chief Secretary, Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, secretaries of various ministries, ambassadors of different countries to Nepal, heads and representatives of development partners and missions and chiefs and officials of private sector organizations will participate in the program.

According to the FNCCI, the ‘National Macroeconomic Debate’ has been organized to prepare a common opinion on the overall economic situation of the country and the future course of action after the Genji movement. Earlier, the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) had organized the first series of National Comprehensive Economic Debate in 2080 BS.
