Prime Minister’s Office directs to resolve dedicated and trunk line arrears dispute through review committee

Kathmandu. The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has directed the government to go to the review committee to resolve the dispute over dedicated feeder and trunk line arrears.

The office has asked to go to the review committee as per the agreement reached on November 17.

“Nepal Electricity Authority, Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation and the concerned Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) should make necessary facilitation to resume the operation of the dedicated trunk line,” reads the letter.

The meeting was held on November 3 in the presence of Finance Minister, Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Chief Secretary, Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers and President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) in the presence of Prime Minister Sushila Kaki.
