Kathmandu. Siddhartha Premier Insurance Company is the highest payer for the insurance claims caused by the GenG agitation on September 7 and 24. The company has so far paid claims of Rs 1.57 billion. The company had received 401 claims worth Rs 5.51 billion.
Similarly, The Oriental Insurance Company has paid Rs 4.19 crore for the loss caused by the agitation. Likewise, IGI Insurance has paid Rs 55.44 crore, Shikhar Insurance Rs 66.26 crore and Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Rs 8.74 crore.
Similarly, Neco Insurance has paid Rs 19.39 crore, Himalayan Everest Insurance Rs 27.43 crore, Sanima GIC Insurance Rs 7.64 crore, United Ajod Insurance Rs 2.38 crore and NLG Insurance Rs 6.59 million.
Similarly, Nepal Insurance has paid Rs 11.57 crore, Prabhu Insurance Rs 31 lakh, Protective Micro Insurance Rs 52 lakh, Star Micro Insurance Rs 3 lakh, Trust Micro Insurance Rs 22 lakh, and Nepal Micro Insurance Rs 12 lakh.
