Kathmandu. The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), which has raised the arrears of dedicated and trunk lines, has started preparing to collect money in the assembly industry accordingly.
NEA sent a letter to the assembly industry last week, asking them to clear the remaining dues. The Parasi Distribution Centre of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has issued a letter asking for payment of the money.
In the letter sent by the center, it has been claimed that the company cannot be given the same tariff concession as the industry to the parts assembled.
The NEA has asked for money from all the assembly industries like dedicated and trunk lines since its establishment.
According to the letter of the NEA, now the additional amount will have to be paid for the facilities received as an industrial customer since the establishment of the industry.
The NEA has sent letters to some industries and is in the process of sending them to some industries. The representatives of these companies have also admitted that they have received a letter from the authority.
“I received a letter a few days ago. We were surprised to see the letter. “It seems as if the NEA has sent a letter saying that all the industries can collect money after clearing the arrears of the dedicated trunk line,” said a representative of the industry who received the letter. Thousands of people have been employed. Nevertheless, the NEA has sent a letter considering it as a service-oriented industry. Now, if this is the case, how will they invest, what will other industries come to invest? ’
According to the representatives, it seems that the temporary government will not allow the industries and factories to run if they continue to send the old bills and give unnecessary stress to the industrialists.
According to the assembly industrialists, this government is trying to make the industrialists more terrified due to the Genji agitation and at a time when the situation of new investment coming in is low. The industrialists said that the letter sent by the NEA should be reconsidered immediately.
“Although we have imported goods, we have opened industries in Nepal,” the industrialists said, adding, “We have invested and provided employment.” We have reduced the outflow of Nepali money. In such a situation, it is not an ordinary matter for the government, especially the current Energy Minister, to receive such a letter from the NEA. During the tenure of this government, the industrial environment of the country deteriorated. ’
NRA spokesperson Rajan Dhakal said he was not aware of the issue.
