Sanima Reliance Life Insurance donates Rs 5 lakh to Samata Education Foundation

Kathmandu. Sanima Reliance Life Insurance has handed over financial assistance of Rs. 5 lakhs to Samata Education Foundation as a part of its corporate social responsibility.

Samata Education Foundation is a non-profit organization established in the education sector of Nepal, providing accessible and quality education to children from economically weaker sections and remote areas in line with the slogan ‘Education for All’.

The organization has been providing education at a very low fee of Rs 100 per month through Samata School in various districts of the country, which has enabled thousands of students to get school education.

The foundation will use the amount of Rs 5 lakhs to purchase educational materials (textbooks, stationery, textbooks, stationery, physical infrastructure and enhance the quality of education) for the disadvantaged and meritorious students studying in the school.

With this support, the Foundation believes that this support will contribute to ensuring opportunities for continuing education for children who have difficulty in getting an education.

As part of its corporate social responsibility, the company plans to further strengthen its responsibility towards society in the coming days by providing support in the areas of education, health, environment protection, financial literacy and disaster management. Through such efforts, the company believes that along with profit-oriented business, social welfare and common development will also be advanced.

Currently, the company has been providing services through 169 branches across the country, has a capital of more than Rs 5 billion, invested more than Rs 20 billion and more than 20,000 agents are working in it.
