. The government has urged all the rural municipalities and municipalities to provide details of the losses caused by the agitation that took place on September 7 and 24.
The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration has sent a letter to all 753 local levels across the country requesting them to provide details of the damages.TAG_OPEN_div_10 The Ministry has stated in a letter dated November 12 that it has written to the online portal to clarify the details of losses incurred during the agitation.
The Ministry has been asked to provide necessary information regarding entering the details of the damage in the online portal. The ministry has made it clear that it has been asked to provide details for the reconstruction and other works. A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on September 20 had formed a five-member committee to prepare a plan to reconstruct the public property, physical infrastructures and damage to private institutions caused by the agitation.
In order to ensure uniformity and ease in data collection, the committee has asked the concerned local level to prepare online portal and provide details of the offices under the local level. If the data of the damage has been allowed to be entered, they have been requested to provide the details and upload it on the portal prepared by the ministry.
