Kathmandu. Mai Khola Hydropower Company has left the shareholders empty-handed.

A meeting of the Board of Directors of the company held on Tuesday decided not to provide dividend to the shareholders from the profit of the last fiscal year. The company has proposed to issue 100 percent (1:1) right shares.

Crumpany has called its annual general meeting for December 25. The book will be closed on November 26 for the purpose of the meeting.

Shareholders who remain in power till November 26 will receive the dividend determined by the company. The company is to take the proposal to the meeting to add loan for the reconstruction of the project.

Similarly, the meeting will be proposed to increase the allowances of the members of the Board of Directors.
