Nepal Bank opens ATM service in Dunai, end of era of no ATM in banks in Dolpa

Dolpa. KATHMANDU: Nepal Bank Limited (NBBL) has inaugurated an ATM service at its branch office located at Dunai Bazaar, the headquarters of Dolpa.

The service was inaugurated by Dinesh Prasad Poudel, Karnali Province Chief of the Bank amid a program organized at Dunai on the occasion of 89th anniversary of the bank. He said that the ATM service was operated with the objective of providing banking services to the local service recipients and domestic tourists.

“The Bank’s vision is that the people of Dolpa and Kathmandu should get equal services in this era of information technology. The Dolpa branch has been providing service since 2032 BS.

On the occasion, Assistant Chief District Officer Ramesh Poudel said that the era of lack of ATMs in banks in Dolpa has ended.

Thulibheri municipality-3 ward chair Bhakta Bahadur Bhandari and Dolpa Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Laliman Budha expressed gratitude to Nepal Bank Limited for inaugurating ATM service at Dunai.

They have demanded that in the coming days, the government should make arrangements to take loans for easy business by mortgaging their house and land. Bhabi Bhandari, branch chief of the bank, said that the ATM card will be available to the customers.
