Kathmandu. On the occasion of World Children’s Day, Golyan Group organized a ‘Kids Playdate’ program for the children of Gen-G martyr families on Thursday. Children of martyr families and their parents were present in the program organized at Oops Nepal Fun Park in Dhumbarahi.
Golyan Group had announced an educational scholarship scheme for the children of martyr’s families on October 24. Under the scheme, an agreement has been made with parents to bear the education expenses of 27 children up to grade 12. Children and parents of martyr families in Kathmandu who are involved in the educational scholarship scheme were present in the program on Thursday. The kids enjoyed playing various entertaining and intellectual games at the Oops Fun Park.
Akshay Golyan, Managing Director of Golyan Group, said that the gathering was organized to exchange acquaintances among the members of the ‘Naya Parivar’. “Our new family is united by a shared commitment and purpose,” he said. He said that the prosperity of the country was possible only in the welfare and development of children and their right to freedom, happiness and opportunity should be ensured.
Jyoti Gaire, Head of Corporate Affairs and Communications, Golyan Group, said that the event is being organized on the occasion of World Children’s Day to respect and protect the rights of children. “All aspects of children’s development are linked to their happiness, and the path to prosperity of the society also starts from this,” she said. jh
Golyan Group has announced to provide educational scholarships up to grade 12 for the children of Gen-G martyr families. In the first phase, a memorandum of understanding was signed with the parents and in the second phase, the process of signing a tripartite agreement between the school, guardians and Golyan Group has started.
