Kathmandu. The stock market was also in the green on Monday. The index increased by 47.22 points to sit at 2,647.44 points.

The market continued to grow from the beginning of the trading until the end. A total of 1,42,04,362 units of shares of 330 companies were traded worth Rs 7,03,54,80,136. Along with the market, the transaction amount is also increasing.

The sub-indices of all the sub-indices have increased in the trade.

Banking sub-indices increased by 18.95 points, development bank by 66.05, finance company by 32.53, hotel by 151.01, hydropower by 27.28, life insurance by 644.99, production and processing by 123.16, microfinance by 95.27, non-life insurance by 321.14 and others by 39.99.

The share prices of four companies have hit a positive circuit in the trading session. The price of 215 companies has increased while the price of 37 companies has decreased.
