Kathmandu. Kathmandu: Former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has expressed concern over the financial manipulation in the process of issuing licenses of new stock exchanges.

In the meeting of the House of Representatives, CpN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ questioned that the government was ready to give license of new stock by stopping the current process and setting new standards and stopping corruption in a lawful manner. He urged the government to stop the current process and issue licenses by making new standards without corruption. He asked whether the government was ready to move forward according to transparency and standards.

Citing instances such as securities board, Bhutanese refugee scandal, land scam, waiver of electricity dues, land mafia protection, and transfer-appointment deals worth lakhs of rupees, he accused the government regulatory body of acting at the behest of middlemen.

During the address, Chairman Dahal said, “The government is moving towards the complete collapse of good governance by following the tendency of following commission deals and brokers, which is a dangerous sign for democracy.” Stating that the present government is running in the interest of brokers and middlemen, the character of the unnatural alliance has been exposed in such a way that the people are ashamed. ‘

Chairman Prachanda said in the parliament, “The vested interest behind the arguments you made while forming the government has been exposed to shame by the people. According to him, the unnatural alliance formed while trying to reverse the movement of billions and break the setting has already revealed its character. ‘
